Penis Itching

In our last series we discussed vaginal itching. Now we will gallantly talk about the penis as these little basic tips can help us men know when to visit a doctor.
Are you itching?, is ur "dick cap" red?, is it swollen, are you feeling excruciating pain? Then you should treat yourself of this. One of the basic causes of itching of the penis or balls is uncleanliness. When you are dirty down there giving room for bacteria to hide and grow, you get infected. Wet or moist under pant, for all you guys trying to feel cool after swimming or exercising, and you are sweating but wouldn't wash up and change your under pant because you feel you are cool and some chick is starring at you, your are so much on "a long thing". Now guys when you notice your babe is itching you are going to have to leave your dick under your boxers and help her treat the itching or else you will contact whatever is making her itch which is sexually transmitted disease (STD). Let us discuss in details now.
Itching of the dick most at times is due to rashes caused by fungi, lice or viral infection.  If the head of your dick is inflamed it mean you have balanitis which is simply a hygiene problem it means you don't wash your dick and balls very well and sometimes a milder form of balanitis can appear soon after sex but disappear within a day/two, this is probably caused by allergy to thrush( yeast infection) in your partners vagina. Guys note that if your dick is swollen , intensive itching and very red it means you probably have thrush also known as candida. Occasionally its a first sign of diabetes and I advice you to  see a doctor.

As discussed above dirt is what causes balanitis  due to poor hygiene thereby creating room for harmful bacteria to populate under the foreskin. Irritation of the penis can also cause balanitis. Some tips on how to avoid or what to do:
1. Change soap, wash the penis with unperfumed soap,
2. Put two hands full of salt in bath with no additives , no disinfectant , no oil bath, no bubble bath
3. Do not use enzyme powder to wash underpants
4. For guys who love sex, married or single use a condom or ask your partner to visit her doctor or a genital medicine clinic to check for thrush especially if your balanitis occurs after sex
5. Please guys do not use perfume or spray on your dick mostly when your going to your babes place expecting a blowjob as it is harmful.
Lastly if balanitis is severe ask for a diabetes test and visit a doctor urgently, if after treating thrush it continues, check if its psoriasis.

Ladies and gentlemen let's not be so carried away by nonchalance as not to care for our genitals. Ladies endeavour to wash the vagina always with clean water. Learn to leave it neat with nice smell as dirt can cause yeast infection and please don't do if he wouldn't use a condom because of our type of hole there is a quick tendency to get infected unlike guys with small hole on the penis.

Vaginal Itching

Vaginal itching is an uncomfortable and sometimes painful symptom often caused by irritating substances. Vaginal itching is treatable and is also preventable . infection and menopause also causes itching , in rare cases itching  may occur due to stress or can be a sign of vulva cancer. Vulva means the vagina surrounding.

Examples of some irritants that can cause itching of the vagina are soap, bubble bath, topical contraceptives, fabric underwear.
Note: ladies drawing closer to menopause or already there should maintain clean hygiene  cause the risk of experiencing vaginal itching is high, this is because of the reduction of estrogen level which leads to vaginal dryness. And dryness of the vaginal causes itching and irritation if left untreated or if not kept clean.

Ladies note when itching is accompanied by frequent urination, sudden weight loss, increasing thirst or fatigue see a doctor ASAP as these are signs of diabetes. Other symptoms of itching that requires the attention of a doctor are: 1.) Blister on the vulva 2.) Urination difficulties 3.) Unusual vaginal discharge 4.) Any symptoms that persist for more than one week, the attention of a gynaecologist is needed.

Like i mentioned earlier, vaginal itching can be avoided, prevented and treated. Appropriate recommendation for treating /avoiding itching is by staying clean and keeping good hygiene.

Here are some home care tips for vaginal itching and if these tips doesn't work please visit a gynaecologist/a doctor

1.) Avoid using feminine hygiene products as this can cause irritation and lead to itching
2.) Avoid scented soap, lotion and bubble baths
3.) Wear cotton underwear which is breathable like I said our vagina needs air, clean air, stop wearing tight panties
4.) Change out of wet or damp clothes immediately after swimming or exercise
5.) Eat yogurt to reduce the chance of yeast infection.
6.) Shave pubic hair neatly and clean

ITCHING

Talking about itching am not going use all the big medical terms; we going to discus itching to the best of our understanding- in simple terms.

Itching in other words is when you are scratching any part of your body. Now the question is where are you scratching? Is it the private part, armpit, buttocks , feet or general body?

Breaking down all types of itching gradually, we will start with the private part. What causes itching of the private part? How do we get infected? First thing that will come to our mind is unprotected sex which is correct.

In case we don't know, when private part starts itching it is assumed the person has vaginal infection and should go for a test which is advicable so as to know what type of infection and treatment to be taken.

Its not just unprotected sex that causes itching which is assumed infection for those of us ladies with a very sensitive opening (vagina), when you pee on open floor or  sandy floor there is the tendency that you could itch this is because the urine is dropping on the floor and splashes of sand and the urine is touching the vagina.

More like what goes down comes up, and also when we use a toilet that looks clean yet not clean. Take for example my friend brought down the toilet seat to pee and there was drops of urine, I didn't know that happened and  I used the toilet and few minutes after i used it my bum and vagina started itching seriously I had to ask who used the toilet and she said oh I forgot to clean the toilet seat

Now I am itching not because I had unprotected sex but because I wasn't sensitive enough to do the right thing. So I advice that in other to avoid itching of the vagina, we should be protected sexually; use a condom, secondly always clean the toilet seat before use, finally, please endeavor to flush the toilet before use. The toilet may look clean but it isnt clean, also, for ladies endeavor to wipe your vagina after peeing. Because trust me itching of the vagina isn't a pleasant feeling. It is annoying, embarrassing  and it hurts so much that you could itch till you bleed.

Endeavour to wipe,but preferably, wash with water and wipe so your vagina stays fresh, clean and smells nice.

Guys don't think you are free from itching, you guys have pipes unlike ladies, that's the reason you should clean after peeing. It sounds crazy but its safe. Because after peeing you put the pipe back in your boxers and the remaining drop of pee drops on your boxers dries up and u start scratching your balls, or Ur boxers starts smelling. So stay safe, clean the pipe immediately after peeing and have protected sex if you must have sex.
