Effect of stagnant water

Most times stagnant water is found on the road due to lack of a sufficient drainage system , also water trapped in potholes, this and more causes harm to man. This stagnant water breeds and accommodates mosquitoes which we all know isn't good health wise. How about the offensive smell that will be generated from the stagnant water,? Bad roads and blocked drainages could also lead to flooding. Maintaining all this isn't the duty of masses, citizens or civilians, its the duty of our leaders, the government, to make good drainages, pipelines that can channel the waters or make them flow properly to avoid blockage. But we as citizens can help ourselves by keeping clean and protecting the health of our loved ones by fumigating, dusting and cleaning our houses and environment. Waterlogged areas that eventually result in flooding has rendered a few people homeless. Stagnant water breeds Mosquitos that eventually infect people with malaria. Please don't be decieved there is no stagnant water that is clean. Parents please do not allow your children play in such areas or even put their feet in such water as it could expose them to harmful diseases.

Nigerian Leaders be reminded of your Pledge

Nigerian leaders do your part in keeping our motherland clean.

As we've been discussing,cleaning or cleanliness cannot be over emphasised. We say citizens help keep our country clean, its been said that we do our part as patriotic citizens, now I ask what about our leaders? What about the Governors of states, or  President ? Can they proudly boast of doing something relating to the aspect of cleanliness in Nigeria ? I am not talking of the commissioner of environment as I believe its another office to squander funds,  I am talking about roads and drainages. And by this I mean adhering to and abiding by their promise to make Nigeria a home we are all proud of. Sincerely I am not talking about political strategies for elections like they are doing right now . It is so annoying when there are lots of cleaning projects to be done and it is left till election period so that they can be praised. Well,Nigerians. I believe are smarter now. There are roads to be worked on, drainages to be made, the truth of this matter is that a citizen cannot take it upon him/herself to build good roads or make drainage or is the government leaving it for the poor masses? I am yet to understand. Please Mr President, Governors, Local Government Chairmen, please put into consideration the health of the people you lead because without the people you wouldn't have anybody to rule. If you endanger them to malaria and other diseases you will have nobody to rule.

Our Environment Matters

Wendygold:
Giving tips on how to stay clean and healthy cannot be over emphasised, if we say our environment isn't our business , if we say I don't care, after all its the duty of the government , what about the little we can do as a citizen who has pledged aligence to our country to be honest, loyal and faithful? The fact that they didn't do it , or they started and didn't complete isn't enough for us to complicate matters. Take for instance the canal in Ladilak, government is trying to make some thing good out of it but citizens turn it to a dumping ground for refuse, what happened to the dustbins? We over look all these things thinking we aren't going to be affected the truth is that it isn't the government that is living near the dirt , it is the citizen,and as usual mosquitos and creepy things would from there into our houses probably infect us with disease and malaria.
We are still the ones that will spend money treating ourselves when we fall ill. The least we can do is to encourage the government I am not saying they are right with their evil deed or agenda as my aim is to speak the truth relating to cleaning, I am not in support of what they are doing but for the citizens sake I'll advice that we support not only the government but our motherland with the little that we can by keeping our environment clean, please keep Lagos clean.

Annoying Habit

A lot of us get to personal with our personal stuffs, why a lot of Are very careless. If you cannot take care of your own material stuffs you'll definitely not take care of someone's because you ain't uses to it. Some people in my life over time says Wendy you are too contious , personal with your stuffs , some say self-centered and I reply them if I am not conscious with my stuffs you wouldn't see them to borrow from me and that's the truth. Imagine your sister asking you for her panties, Lol the question is do we share the same pant? No, but because she is carefree and doesn't know where she kept it the last time she pulled it off that's why she is looking for it. Am going to speak for some ladies/ guys who stay with friends / family member, we are not saying you shouldn't share stuffs with us all we are saying is when you take our stuff for use please keep them back where you took it from. Often time most people ha e this very annoying habit of taking your comb or stuff from your closer and keeping it in the kitchen,  sitting room after use, hello is that where you got it from ? This is a habit that is so annoying and when the owner is in need he /she begins to look for it. I'll advice us all to be contious of our belongings yeah we know you can get anything you want but keep what you have safe, return borrowed item to its original position, that way every body is happy.

WendyGold: Smelly Vaginas

Mouth odour, body odour and smelly feet have been discussed and tips on how to stay and keep clean discussed. Now we are going to talk about offensive odour from the feminine private part. What causes vaginal  odour? Congestion of the vagina, when its not properly washed, when their is no ventilation down there. Yes it sounds funny but that's the truth a lot of us -ladies have gotten fond of wearing panties, tight, bum shorts and then our trousers or skirt. Even when we want to go to bed we still cover up so tight. Our private part needs fresh air, it needs good air. Another reason why the vagina develops bad smell is when it is not properly washed while bathing, when washing our private part, it is always good to squat and wash, not stand and wash. This is because there is a tendency that clean water wouldn't get there to wash properly. Repitition of pants also causes the vagina to stink. Imagine wearing a pant on Monday and you repeat it on Tuesday of course the "pussy" is going to smell. I am going to advice the ladies to shave clean before and after menses. When you are  bleeding and you have a lot of hair in your pubic area, the blood is going to stick to the hair. Imagine on a normal day how blood smells. Ladies please endeavour to always change your sanitary pad at intervals, don't wait till its filled to the brim before you change it , you may not know when you start smelling but other people would be able to perceive. So its always good to stay clean when on your menses.

WendyGold: Talking About Smelly Feet

I had mentioned in an earlier post that "stink" is a very bad smell. Today we are going to talk about the feet that stink. What causes feet to stink, a smelly shoe, dirty stockings? Often times when we visit some offices we tend to perceive an offensive smell oozing from someone's shoe -reason being that either the persons stockings is dirty,the individual sweats on the feet or the shoe wasn't sun dried. Imagine what will happen when you wear a shoe with a new pair of stockings and after the days activity you get home pull off the smelly stockings, put it back inside the smelly shoe and next morning you pick up the shoe, stockings and repeat the same to work. You are obviously and definitely going to kill your colleagues with a very corrosive stink. Smelly Shoes/feet stink are so annoying that it can ruin someone's day. For example I had a business meeting with a friend that would fetch me good money but I couldn't concentrate because his shoe was oozing so bad, the stink was so offensive that I had to call his attention to it. Now am going to tell my married female readers to always be on the check for their husbands shoes because most men don't know that their shoes/feet stink. The only solution to smelly feet is to make sure that once the shoe is removed, it should be dried; stockings should be washed. It is not adviceable to always wear one pair of stockings for a whole week. That is so bad, even our shoes shouldn't be repeated so much, not just because of the stink, but so the shoes purpose (to protect the feet) can be achieved. Finally, we shouldn't forget to wash our feet well while taking our evening shower as this will help keep the feet clean.
